I have lost 10 pounds using Huel. This is great for a meal replacement. The fiber is filling and the chocolate flavor is tasty.I kinda wanted to test out the nutrition factor. I’ve (liquid) fasted in the past using different shakes and drinks…but always had to break the fasting after a day or two due to my body feeling nutritionally deficient…For fasting days I use this meal replacement to see if my body woukd feel fine (nutritionally) during the fasting days.I fasted for 5 days. My body did not feel any umbalances. With fasting for mental and physical fuel the body needs certain types of electrolytes i used “Fuel 4 Ever.”Energy wise this formula works. But the fasting process always had to be stopped early due to anger, raw nerves, confusion, depression, mood swings, memory issues, etc.WITH HUEL there were NO issues. I fasted for 5 days and had no problems. I had 1 Huel shake for each meal. Sometimes added another shake during the day, if I felt it was needed.I did liquid fasting for 5 days. And could have done this liquid fast longer. During these days I worked out with weights at the gym and jogged.The combination of Huel with the electrolyte supplement made a strong team. The nutrition made the fasting possible. The “Fuel 4 Ever” gave me the electrolyte support for Energy during an active week.During the fast.. i felt great and lossing pounds had never been easier. After 5 days I lost 3 pounds.Since then I’ve also done intermediate fasting. I’ve had Huel for breakfast as a meal replacement and lunch. And later early in the evening id have a cooked dinner. If I felt hungry before bed I’d have another Huel drink.I’ve since then lost more weight. This drink is incredible for taking away hunger and giving complete nutrition. I’ve tried so many drinks, supplements, strategies to loss weight. Failure time after time is a hard pill to swallow. Huel is effective.I am overcoming obesity. I’m grateful to have found this product. I thank God for Him helping me find this supplement and connect the dots for better health. Also….to those who made Huel I want to say from the heart, “thank you.”

Tasty, reasonably priced, and healthy
Huel BE is great – the cookies and cream is too sweet for my tastes, but chocolate and banana are well-balanced and tasty.I love that the meal is nutritionally balanced, super easy to make, and cheap (it’s about $3.60 each for me, at current prices).

Foul – Not Sensory/Neurodivergent Safe – Gritty & Gross
My husband and I both tried it, and it called for an immediate refund. We both felt sick right away, and the aftertaste still haunts me as I write this. We even tried to fix it in the blender, but it still tasted horrible. I’ve tried many meal replacement drinks, snacks, and powders, and they all taste the same—awful. I’m not sure why I thought this vegan option would be any better. We’re neurodivergent, so we need an accessible way to get the basic nutrients necessary for survival. We hoped to get what we needed in one sitting with this drink, and then what we ate after that would be a bonus. I can’t stand these drinks, smoothies, or anything like that. My husband can tolerate them a bit more than I can, but this one was not one of those. It’s expensive for only half a month’s supply. Not neurodivergent approved. To each their own, though.-SS

Time,Energy,Money. This is a WIN!
So far I have enjoyed the Chocolate flavor and the Banana is also pretty good, although opinions will vary throughout the people in my circle that have tried it. Over all a boost in energy and initial pickup, I wouldn’t expect this to be a 1 meal a day thing. It feels good for about 3-4hr then your looking for more to eat. For me its all about getting something in my body that is healthier than some microwave meal or a stop at the fast food joint. It also removes the tasks of, travel to and from the store, shopping in the store, cooking, dishes, dealing with people in the public, searching for a how to cooking/meal on YouTube ect. Win Win for me. A tip of mine would be to absolutely use a blender or mixer of some sort, and allow to rest for a minimum of 15minutes, for better results at least an hour for a smoother texture. We are mixing water and reconstituting a very dry powder and it needs to have time absorb the liquid. A quick mix and drink will leave things feeling gritty. I would also recommend using a milk/milk substitute for replacement of the water if your looking for a more creamy texture like a milk shake of sorts. But water works good for me and is less sugar. Vanilla is better than chocolate
Older reviews say there’s no scoop included, but as of September 2025 there IS a scoop included in each bag.I’ve tried Chocolate and Vanilla. Vanilla is better in my opinion.Chocolate: yeah it’s chocolatey, hint of banana flavor and artificial sweetener-resembling aftertaste. I don’t like banana so I started adding a little cinnamon and a date/sugar and it became something I would look forward to.Vanilla: I don’t have to add anything to this! It almost tastes like birthday cake. Sorcery.I always mix it in a blender with ice and water. It feels like a high-protein meal so afterwards I like to sip ginger tea.

Can’t really shake it smooth. There will always be lumps. Blender is a must which makes it not very “fast” unless you have a ninja prep or equivalent type of blender that’s small and always ready. You gotta use extra things to get it mixed. Powder is messy and clingy. Scoop is flimsy. Taste is tolerable. I mainly replace my lunch,1 scoop around 11 and then another scoop around 2 only on week days. I start to feel hungry around 6 which is when I eat dinner. I generally don’t eat breakfast. Overall, after a couple of weeks, I feel fine, no discernable change in weight or size, which is good. Gut feels fine, BMs seem normal. I’m pushing 40, about 150lbs l, 5’8″, not very active, but I do average 8k-10k steps a day.

Mixed well with water or oat milk. This power option also works out a lot cheaper than buying the bottles, so it’s double won for me.Yes, it does taste a little sweeter than the bottles but it’s not a deal breaker for me.I’ll be stocking back up as and when needed. 5 stars.

Great taste, doesn’t mix the best when using water, ends up with grainy texture when trying to drink. I found that it mixes a lot better with milk.Product doesn’t come with a measuring scoop
