I’ll NEVER, ever, ever…EVER be without it again! NEVAAA!
I have had a NUMBER (putting it lightly) of weird symptoms for the last 15+ years. Water retention (like random 8+ lbs overnight after eating something carb heavy or consuming too much salt or simply because stars are aligned just right), low blood pressure, mild to extreme fatigue, mild to extreme brain fog, memory issues, comprehension issues, insomnia, can’t wake up in the morning, struggle to energy all day, only have energy at night when the rest of the world is meeting with the sandman, stomach issues, random & sporadic weight gain, heat intolerance, cold intolerance, excessive night sweats, headaches, earaches, random nausea, hypoglycemia, passing out, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, extreme anxiety over nothing, shaking, tremors…you get the point. All of it is random and strikes whenever it feels like, goes away when it wants. I’ve been to every specialist, had all kinds of tests, the only things ever found were anemia and consistent low potassium even on prescription potassium. The only specialist I haven’t been to is an endocrinologist, which is probably the ONE I NEED to see. My doctor didn’t think it was necessary. Her basic blood tests apparently don’t give her any reason to refer me 🙄. Apparently my symptoms aren’t reason enough.I’ve tried ALL types of supplements. I’ve been put on a number of prescriptions that either exasperated my symptoms, created new ones or simply didn’t do anything.In October I bought Thorne adrenal cortex, Neem and Rosemary supplements to try and I started feeling better in a couple days. I did not think it was the adrenal cortex helping. I thought maybe something had been wrong with my gut and the Rosemary and Neem had helped. I could not remember ever feeling that healthy …EVER. It was amazing. No swelling, no weird random symptoms with no rhyme or reason, I had plenty of energy, AND I lost 28 pounds in about 6-7 weeks. Yes, 28! TWENTY EIGHT! I’ve always had a hard time losing weight. I went from a size 6 or 8 to a size 0 or 2. Hello new wardrobe! I had to buy all new undergarments, as well. My chest size went from a 36D to a 32B seemingly faster than I could say Victoria’s Secret. I could eat whatever I wanted without paying for it for days with swelling, boating, stomach pain. It was like I could finally digest food correctly, my electrolytes were in check and I was no longer battling dehydration. It was literally like I had been given a brand new, FUNCTIONING version of my sickly body. I stopped taking the adrenal cortex in December. Again, I thought it was the Oregano oil and Neem supplements that I bought for gut health, especially because of the weight loss. Oregano oil supposedly prevents your body from creating new fat cells. In a couple weeks of not taking the adrenal cortex, I started getting random symptoms here in there, and then on January 6th, I tested positive for COVID. Then ALL my symptoms came back. Especially the fatigue and edema. By mid February, I was still not feeling great and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting back to that super healthy feeling. I needed to order more oregano oil, so I pulled up past orders in Amazon and saw the Thorns adrenal cortex and instantly, it hit me. THAT IS WHAT MADE ME BETTER! Not the stupid gut cleaning herbs!Adrenal Cortex saved me. When my doctor has been trying to crack my case for 1.5 plus decades, one little supplement took my misery away. I’m going to take a stab in the dark and guess she doesn’t believe in adrenal fatigue. She sure does believe in chronic fatigue. And fibromyalgia. That’s what she diagnosed me with and basically told me I had to live with it. I had always held on to hope that one of the hundreds of vitamins and supplements I’ve purchased over the years would do SOMETHING for me.If you have any suspicions about having adrenal fatigue or insufficiency, give Thorne Adrenal Cortex a try. I struggled for months/a couple years with adrenal fatigue brought on by parasite infections that did not get proper treatment, so they lingered for a period of about 6 years. My adrenals tanked as a result. This product was the key in igniting my process of healing and recovery from the parasites. I was on both meds AND natural supplements for 7 months before adding this adrenal cortex extract; I had some minor results, but nothing dramatic. But with this product, wow, FINALLY, my immune system is in the fight! Hallelujah!I have learned over the past few months of using this product (started Jan. 2019, now it is May 2019) that patient experience is such an individual thing. I started off at the recommended starting dosage (according to the STTM gurus, see below…) and tweaked as I listened to my body and my symptoms. For me personally, I was able to do 2 caps in the morning (3 made me overstimulated), 2 at lunch, 1 at dinner, and 1 a half hour before climbing into bed (abbreviating this dosage routine as 2-2-1-1). After a couple months, I was able to back down to 1-1-1-0.5. (I tried to do 2 in the morning to mimic the nice curvature of cortisol highest in the morning, and it was overstimulating me).Results were seen within days of starting this product: Lightheadedness on standing quickly – gone. Salt craving and needing to up unrefined salt intake – vanished. Blood sugar much more stable, can go longer between snacks. Due to stabilizing blood sugar, no longer waking up at 3 am with an adrenaline rush due to blood sugar dropping during the night. Fatigue gradually melted away (you may need to be patient, there was an immediate improvement in energy, but took some weeks to get my full stamina back – yes, back to pre-illness energy and stamina!), Hands and feet are warm again (this is taking a little longer to be consistent, but yes, warm almost all the time now!). And it’s hard to describe, but my hands feel “filled out” again when I make a fist – like my body is finally able to hold on to the electrolytes. I’m sure my tissues are thanking Thorne ACE. But the best of all: Outlook on Life Revived! Feeling like my old self emotionally and spiritually, and this started changing for the better almost immediately when I started taking this product January 13. February 18 onward it’s been great.And the parasites are dying!! (How do I know this? ****TMI ALERT: skip down to the next paragraph if you have a weak constitution – TMI ALERT. Dead worms seen in the toilet after taking de-worming meds.)****Always keep some of these with you when out and about or traveling, and always have a snack on hand. Tell your loved ones about your cortex and where you keep it. Do not miss a dose, especially if your adrenal function is quite low like mine was. Early on in using this, if I missed a dose, I was in bad shape – nausea, shakiness, confusion. A couple times I had to have help to get my cortex because I thought I was going to pass out.I highly recommend ZRT labs saliva cortisol testing, DO NOT SKIP THIS. You will be glad you did. Read the books: Stop the Thyroid Madness (chapter 5-6 on adrenal fatigue and some guidance on how to dose this product; also google STTM and read a bunch of info for free online AND HOW TO INTERPRET YOUR SALIVA TEST RESULT), and also the book Adrenal fatigue : the 21st century stress syndrome by James Wilson. Im an 18 year old girl who decided to take these pills because it seemed like I could use some of the supplements. It’s only been one day since I took it but at night my body felt like it was out of place and I felt dizzy. I noticed my back also hurts and overall feels uncomfortable.
