This is very simple —tools. The only complaint I have is that there was a dead bug stuck to the ring, right on the foam’s adhesive. (Picture shows it after I tried to scrape it off with the plastic : Some body parts remained on the adhesive due to adhesive’s stickiness, but—) I was able to get it off with some water. Nothing unmanageable for an earth walker. (Who hasn’t had to deal with bugs?)The ring and ball are very easy to use and the diagrams on the back of the box are easy to follow. There’s no false expectations set in the listing as to the items therein and the exercises are effective and target varying areas. The set comes with the regular resistance bands we have all seen by this point (loops), but also a large resistance band that is literally a band —not looped. Let me be honest, I am not a huge fan of resistance bands (I like the idea of them, but the feel of them requires too much catering for me), but as an add on that serves their advertised purpose, they are pretty nice. Plus, the mesh carry case is 👍. (The set also comes with a larger bag for general storage.)The ball needs to be blown up with a straw (that comes wrapped; no worries in that department). And the size and material is perfect for grasping between your feet without feeling awkward about it. (I’ve tried using a soccer ball for the same task and it was constantly slipping.. maybe because it had no “give” —it was full of air— and it is made to roll (slicker surface), not “hold” (+friction).) The one that came in this set is comfortable to use.The ring is also nice, though you feel the diameter difference. As noted, parts of the adhesive of the foam portion still maintains its stickiness, but I did not find it interfering with general usage of the ring. If it weren’t for the bug, I might not have even paid this aspect any attention. It is not “top-tier” quality (room for “better”, namely in materials), but it is plenty enough for its use (—no need* for it to be “better”; it does perfectly fine as is. Better materials may grant a more “premium” feel, but the function and usage would not improve any (or so I infer)).Overall, definitely a set I will enjoy using. I am a bit reluctant to “recommend” it because of my experience with the bug (don’t want to recommend it to a friend and have them face the same situation, as minor as it may have been), but it might be a one-off. If other reviews don’t have a similar gripe, or if you don’t mind some cleanup at unboxing, I would take the plunge. The product itself is very good.

Useful pilates kit
This is a great little pilates kit. I like that.You get the ring which is really good for positioning and keeping your arms apart while working out. I like the different bands that’s also great to have several included. The color is nice and cheerful. I like the carrying bag which is nice for keeping everything together. The price point is decent for this as exercise stuff can get expensive.

Good quality basic essentials
This Pilates essentials kit comes with 5 stretch bands (labeled), ranging from x-light to x-heavy. There is also 1 wide stretch band in about medium tension. The Pilates ring is 9.5” inner diameter and is of very good quality. The small inflatable balance ball comes with a straw to inflate the ball, rather than a pump. And finally, there is a really nice yoga block. I think the price is reasonable for these basic good quality tools.
