GREAT PRENATAL
I’ve tried several prenatal vitamins throughout my pregnancy journey, but Needed Prenatal Vitamins have been by far the most complete and thoughtfully formulated option I’ve found. From the start, I was impressed by the transparency of the ingredients and the emphasis on quality and bioavailability. The comprehensive formulation really stands out covering not just the basics like folate, iron, and DHA, but also often-overlooked essentials like choline, magnesium, and trace minerals that are crucial for both baby’s development and mom’s well-being. I also appreciate that there’s no unnecessary fillers or synthetic dyes, which can be a concern with other brands. What really won me over was how gentle these were on my stomach. No nausea, no weird aftertaste, just clean, effective nutrition I could actually feel good about taking every day. Their packaging is clean and eco-friendly too, which is a nice bonus! If you’re looking for a science-backed, complete, and high-quality prenatal vitamin, I honestly can’t recommend Needed enough. It gave me peace of mind knowing I was truly supporting my baby and myself the best way possible.

One of the best prenatals I’ve tried
Didn’t have high hopes since I had to take 3 capsules a day which can be hard with morning sickness. However, the bottle states you can take them all at once or with each meal. I’ve found it’s easiest to take them all at once before bed. They do give me more energy and makes me feel better that they are more natural and safe for my baby and myself. This is my 3rd pregnancy and all the other prenatals I’ve used have a nasty fishy smell. This one has a slight smell as well but I’ve found if you take them with a small slice of lemon/lime then you can taste them at all! I recommend these capsules, they are great!

Not good
These are very large capsules for one dose it’s 3 pills. They are very hard to swallowing and tend to get stuck. They also have an awful taste to them.

Smells terrible, tastes terrible, and made me nauseous
You have to take 3 pills a day, they smell SO bad, taste is terrible. I had to travel for a wedding and put them in a baggy in my suitcase and they made my whole suitcase stink. They made me gag several times solely because of the smell and taste. After swallowing, they made me feel SO nauseous and I’m not even pregnant yet. There is no guarantee or warranty so I’m just out the money. The only good thing is that the ingredients are great… but the other aspects make me recommend looking for a different product. I’ve heard great things about Ritual, so I’m trying that one next.

Horrible smell/taste, good nutrient list and decent price point.
I just received my supplements (capsules) about a week ago so I have not been using the supplements long… I don’t have anything to say of the quality yet but my first impression was not good. I got the citrus scent and I smell NOTHING of citrus… Being in my first trimester, the smell is repulsive and I have to plug my nose and drink them with juice…. I’m going to try to make it through the bottle and see if I can get over the horrible smell and taste as I burp it up throughout the morning…. I’ve heard good things about the quality and absorption of the vitamins and minerals so I’m going to try my best. I was going to try to get the other supplement that has double the pills but at this rate, I’ll be sticking with the 3/serving as that’s what I can tolerate.I like that it doesn’t have iron in it because you really should take iron separate from other vitamins for max absorption. And iron needs change between trimesters and personal needs. I also ordered their iron and LOVE it. Really no smell and does not upset my stomach if I take it on an empty stomach before breakfast!

Gentle and Complete Prenatal
This is one of the best prenatal vitamins I’ve tried. I like that it has everything I need without a bunch of unnecessary fillers. It feels really clean and high quality. I’ve had a hard time with other prenatals making me nauseous, but this one has been really gentle on my stomach. I also like that it’s designed to support you before, during, and after pregnancy. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’m actually getting what my body and baby need.

Great quality – just tastes weird
I love how well this parental works – but the taste and smell are not for me. I think the company and quality is great. Just wish the smell / taste could improve – lol! It’s a little on the expensive side for a prenatal but quality is what mattered most to me so I was happy overall! Only reason for 4 star is taste.
