Finally a way to deal with puppy breath!
I’ve been on the lookout for a good dental solution for my puppy, Dio, and I’m so glad I found the Fera Pets Dental Support Powder! The thought of trying to brush his teeth is a whole adventure I’m not ready for, so this powder seemed like the perfect alternative.The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to use. I just sprinkled the recommended amount into his food and water bowl. I have to tell you, it smells like fish food and our puppy Dio is a picky eater, so I was a little worried he’d notice it, but he ate and drank everything without a second thought! It’s been only 2 days now, and I think I’m already seeing a difference. His breath is noticeably better, and now I’m really hopeful it’s working on the gunk on his teeth.I love that it’s made with natural ingredients like kelp and postbiotics, so I know I’m giving him something that’s not only effective but also good for him. It’s a huge relief to find a product that makes dental care for my little guy so simple and stress-free. I recommend giving this a try!

Even a little goes a long way for cats!!
I have used this tooth powder for my 4 cats for 6 months. (One bottle has lasted this long) Let me explain…At first I was afraid I wasted my money as they didn’t like the full scoop… but I switched to feeding them with just a pinch on their food every day. I mask it with a fish oil supplement on dry food and it works wonders!!Thier teeth concerned me a lot as 2 of my cats are older, and were building up a lot of plaque.After about 3 months of “using the supplement a pinch at a time just to get rid of it” I noticed that all of their teeth had minimal plaque!! I was so happy and just ordered a second bottle.Even a little goes a long way!

I had a lot of trouble getting my cat to eat it so I have been using tuna water after he eats it he goes into an asthma attack. I have tried it several times and have the same reaction.

These have enzymes in them which is supposed to help with the plaque buildup. Time will tell how well it works. I do like the ingredients and my dogs seem to love the taste. I sprinkle some on their food and they gobble it up.

“FOR USE IN DOGS ONLY.”
EDIT: Switched from 1 to 5 stars. The company reached out and explained that the fine print “For dogs only.” was a typo and should say “For dogs and cats only.” as I suspected. I started to use this for my cat and the first couple days he didn’t eat much (probably noticed a taste change) but got hungry enough where he started to eat again. Hoping this stuff helps his gums and teeth, which are slightly enflamed.Original: “FOR USE IN DOGS ONLY.” Printed on the back, whereas the description photo says “FOR USE IN DOGS AND CATS ONLY.” I know the description makes it clear that it’s for dogs and cats, but I’m unsettled by this and once I receive an explanation I’ll update this review, but I’m not comfortable giving this to my cat if the fine print says it’s for dogs only. I asked a question about it and didn’t receive a response. Hopefully they’ll respond to this.

So, I first tried sprinkling it as a topper on their wet food, but that didn’t work. I then mixed it into their wet food and they could still tell something was a little different but they were hungry enough to give it a try, and they ate it!I don’t know if this technique will continue to work every day—but it worked this time. Cats can be picky. I also only added one scoop as my cats’ combined weight is less than 25lbs. If your cat is iffy about it, I’d recommended adding a teeny amount over time, just like when introducing a new food. Only time will tell if this supplement is helping with their teeth, but the active ingredients look promising!The active ingredients are all plant-sourced minus the L. plantarum which is a bacteria species that Google says can help break down food and absorb nutrients, and the Bactase Pet which is an enzyme blend that is meant to help with pet oral health (you can research this to learn more). The plant-sourced ingredients (according to Google) may help by reducing plaque and inflammation in gums, as well as providing an enzyme that removes bacteria from plaque.Overall, if you’re looking for pet dental supplement, I’d give this one a shot!

This dental powder really seems to help my Great Pyrenees boy’s inflamed gums, it is super easy to use, and he doesn’t mind the taste of it on his food at all.It is really hard to measure and record the effects of this product, but I can say that since starting it my dog’s gums are much less red and we no longer think he needs dental surgery. It’s that much improved, which is an amazing blessing because we were dreading him having the surgery.Of course he may still need extractions and/or professional cleaning at a later date, and this product may not work for all individual cases, but I feel it’s really worth a try. Plus it is an affordable first option rather than the huge price, hassle, and risk of surgery.All in all I certainly recommend, based on my experience so far.

I was really hopeful about the Fera Pet Organics Dental Support Powder for my dog’s dental health but unfortunately, he refused to eat his raw food with it mixed in. I love that it’s created by a vet and has clean ingredients, but it just wasn’t a match for my picky pup. Might work better for less fussy eaters or those that can’t smell it mixed into their food.
