High quality organic protein with no additives comes at a price.
I think this product is designed more for women, based on the serving size containing 22g of protein. For reference, an average 15 oz. glass of milk contains 14g of protein. So, you are only getting 8 oz. more with this, unless of course you use milk instead of water. I am a former professional football player and I don’t lift heavy for muscle mass anymore, mostly for tone. However, I am still looking at 45g of protein for my post-workout routine. If I was going heavy, I’d look more from 50 – 60g of protein. The biggest issue I have with this is taste. There is no flavoring whatsoever, so it tastes like drinking a milky glass of water or collagen. I’d much prefer if they added some kind of vanilla, cookie dough or chocolate flavor, which gives you a little treat after working out. I dread taking this vs. looking forward to it after a workout. The upside to this is that you probably couldn’t find a more natural protein. It is made with whey protein from Prolactal, which is organic and reported to be made from cows in the Austrian Alps. Most of the fitness store stuff has chemicals to make the color, make it smooth and milkshake-like and flavor it. You don’t get all that with this … it looks like an opaque yellow water and tastes like if you rang out some used gym socks. But, its organic and all natural. It blends okay … but when using a shaker, it leaves a thick foam with powdery residue which sticks to your lips. I’d prefer using a blender to really get the powder integrated into the water. This might not blend as well as other protein powders but it also dpesn’t have silica and other non-natural ingredients which are typically additives which allow products to blend smoother. Thankfully, it does come with a plastic scoop as 2 scoops is one serving.Overall, at $1.50/serving ($30 x 20 servings at the time of this review) this is a bit pricey for a powder. You can almost buy a pre-mixed muscle milk for that. However, you are getting a much higher quality cold pressed organic whey protein powder in this with no chemicals or additives. At 22g vs. some of the higher protein content powders (as a male who works out, I wouldn’t go under 35g) it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But if you do yoga or cycling, it would be a good low calorie post-cycle drink. I hope my honest review, after actually using the product, was helpful to you.

    Great protein supplement
A single scoop blends easily with water or smoothie—no chunks, and not overly thick. The taste isn’t too sweet, slightly creamy depending on the flavor. Each serving gives about 22–24 g of protein with minimal lactose, so I haven’t had any stomach issues.

    Unflavored whey isolate
This whey protein has nothing added to it as far as flavor or sweetener, and so you don’t have to worry about artificial sweeteners or added sugars for calories and such. I find that this works well for when you need to boost the protein in a smoothie or something, and without affecting the flavor profile of the smoothie.

    Surprisingly flavorless
Where to start? I was skeptical about the ‘non-flavored’ whey protein, but after mixing it with a known chocolate meal replacement shake, I found it really doesn’t change the flavor much at all. Very happy about that. You should absolutely mix this with a blender or a shaker. Spoon mixing will not be sufficient unless you like clumpy drinks. The biggest thing that bothered me about this product was actually just some wording on the package. It states that a serving is 25g or two scoops. What size of scoop? I used a food scale to measure out 25g. If the powder were perfectly level it would probably come out at about 1/4 cup.Overall, it seems like a great suppliment, the directions could just use some clarification. Or include said scoop.

    High quality organic whey protein
If you’re looking for a pure, high-grade/quality whey protein, this is probably your answer. It doesn’t have any smell or discernible taste and mixes just fine, albeit with a lot of foam that goes away after a bit. Each serving is going to be around $2.45, and that might be a little steep for a lot of folks, but I think you are getting what you pay for. For me, I love that it’s plain so I can mix it with anything I want. I even tried Strawberry Quik, and it was great. Yeah, yeah, I probably defeated the purpose of having a clean protein shake, but I’m just saying you can have whatever flavor you want rather than having a protein that has a lot of fillers that I don’t think any of us want.I love the minimal ingredients, the quality protein, and how well it mixes, and it didn’t give me any intestinal issues.

    Unflavored yet has aftertaste
I both this because unlike most other protein powders, this one contained more than just a couple of vitamins and minerals necessary for my personal needs. And also because it was “unflavored”. However, upon making fruit smoothies, there is a distinct taste that is just behind the taste of the fruit. Product says use 2 scoups per 12-15oz of liquid. I have 32oz mason jars so I used the recommended 4 scoops. The taste was so overwhelming I couldn’t drink my shake. So, I backed it down to about 3/4 of a scoop per jar and it’s tolerable. It’s not as lasting as before. It mixed easily in my shakes and doesn’t leave a powdery texture.

Literally has zero flavor, foams up easily, but mixes with anything
This is advertised as a no flavor protein and really has no flavor. If you mix it with milk all you get is foamy milk that tastes like milk (which to me tasted worse than milk because it was foamy). If you mix it with an electrolyte drink it tastes like the electrolyte drink. I even tried it with water and it tasted like water (although smelled like whey). The only downside is it foams up easily so you either have to be more gentile shaking it or let it sit a few mins after shaking it up. I’m not really sure what the best thing to mix it with is, since it isn’t very enjoyable with milk or water and I don’t always drink an electrolyte drink. The pictures below are milk, milk, electrolyte drink and water. This is a good protein if you want unflavored , because it has no flavor at all so I think you could mix it with just about anything.
