Noticeable difference – not magic, but it helps!
We have a Weimaraner — a very emotional, high-energy dog who struggles with being left home alone. Separation has always been hard on him (and us). We decided to give these calming chews a try, and honestly, they’ve made a difference.After a few days of daily use, we noticed he’s much calmer when we leave the house. He’s not sedated or zoned out — just more emotionally balanced, which is exactly what we hoped for. His general reactivity and stress levels also seem lower throughout the day.He loves the taste (chicken flavor) and eats them without hesitation. We stick to the recommended dosage, and it works well for his size.This isn’t a heavy-duty medication — and that’s a good thing. But as a gentle, vet-formulated daily aid, it’s been a great solution for our pup. We’ll definitely be ordering more.

Chill puppy vibes
Love these for my doggies! They provide calming chill vibe for sure. I have a 4 year old chocolate lab mix who thinks he’s a 6 month old puppy and gets really wild. These definitely calm him down though.

They Work
I gave one chew to my 60+ lb Lab mix and although it took some time to work, it takes the edge off of her anxious behaviors. She’s mellowed out a bit and isn’t too frantic anymore, so it does work. She’s currently lying by my feet, mostly chill.I’m not a fan of the molasses or powdered sugar added to this supplement. My other calming supplement chews don’t contain these ingredients and also provide a slight calming effect for my dog, though I think the dosages/active ingredients in these chews seem to have a stronger effect on her. They also seem to make her farts smell like a sour burning outlet…

Do think these help! dogs love the flavor and think they are treats
I have two large dogs, and both of them get stressed out by storms, but one of them is much worse — she totally panics, hyperventilates, shakes and hides in places where she shouldn’t. I have tried many calming supplements to try to help my dogs, and since I’ve had good luck with other supplements from this brand, I wanted to give these a try.The dogs take them easily; they must be delicious, as they think they are treats. That’s important because once my dog goes into panic mode, I can’t get her to eat much of anything. I try to give these as soon as my dogs start acting like a storm is coming (they typically know long before the bad weather actually gets here, and I watch forecasts too so that I can get ahead of it). I do think these help. My normally very panicky dog even napped through a recent rain after taking these. It wasn’t a crazy storm, but still, that’s progress, as even rain without thunder can send her into panic mode.I trust this brand because it comes from the makers of Advantage, which is vet-recommended. I would also note that people should definitely store these where pets can’t get to them. My cats and dogs all got into another bag of a different Pet Protect product that I’d left out on the counter, and they ate a lot of it, which warranted a call to the phone number on the bag, and they were outstanding in telling me how to handle it and even called me back to follow up and check in on them. All of my pets were fine, but that experience taught me that it’s wise to keep supplements like this locked away in a high cabinet.

Check the dosage vs weight
I have a 50 Lbs ACD, gave him 1 chew 30 minutes before a thunder storm. Chew had little to no effect until the next day, He was out of it all day (no play, bark ….). Check with Vet. was told the percentages for the active ingredients seem high the the dogs weight chart. They suggested starting with 1/4 to 1/2 of a chew.

Dogs love them, mild calming effect
My dogs don’t mind these and gobble them down like any other treat. The calming effect does seem to be more mild than others I have tried and is a bit hard to tell if it’s actually effective. I tend to give calming treats to my crew when I know there’s going to be a situation that gets them excitable. While they don’t tend to knock them out, they do take the edge off for the groomer or going for a ride in the car.These are ok but do seem to be less effective.

My dog loves them.
My dog gobbles them down like a treat. They do have an odor to them so I have to wash my hands after giving them to her. The calming effect is OK but my dog is very high strung. When other dogs come to play she can get rowdy. I wanted to have something to give her before other pups visit so she calms down a bit. They do help a bit without putting her to sleep so I will keep using them.
