Seem to be working
I got these pills for my lab; she is getting up in age and noticed she has a hard time walking after laying around for a while. They seem to help we have noticed she gets up less stiff and walks around better. The only thing I wish was they would be made differently like a chew tab or gummy. She does not take pills well no matter how I hide them in her food so what I found was that I take them apart and sprinkle it on her food. That is the only way she will have them. I will be ordering more once I run out.

large pills but no problems taking them
We decided to get some joint supplements for our retriever as a preventative measure. She is getting up in age and doesn’t seem to be in a lot of pain yet but we want her to be able to continue to move well as she ages. These pills are large, so if you have a dog that doesn’t like taking medicine, this could be an issue for you. Our girl doesn’t care and will happily take one stuffed inside a raspberry with her meal. I can’t comment on if they make a drastic difference since we don’t have any big issues so far but I can say that she has a typical sensitive retriever stomach and these haven’t caused her any problems. I would prefer that they be in a form that is easier to take for animals but overall I don’t have any problems with them and will continue to order them.

I think this product is wonderful. Obviously it’s very difficult to gage the complete effectiveness of something like a vitamin or supplement, and the effects can differ from kitty to kitty. However, I care for seven cats, and I do my best to give them a diversified diet that is as balanced as possible and includes things for their special needs, like hip & joint mobility. I appreciate that this product was easy to trace, made in the USA with an easily accessible website. The ingredients and their amounts are labeled clearly on the bottle. Speaking of the bottle, it’s very well designed and easy to read and follow. The capsules are easy to use. I open them and sprinkle the powder inside on top of my kitties wet food and they don’t shy away from it at all. If you wanted to give this supplement to your pet without putting it on their food the size of the capsule is pretty standard, I used a freeze dried cube of chicken to compare it to.My only issue with this product personally is the smell, but that doesn’t take away anything from the effectiveness or quality of the product. It’s more of a warning to others who purchase, these have a pretty awful smell to them, but my cats love it. They will try to eat the capsule out of my hand like a treat while I’m trying to open it and put it onto their food. So they smell bad, but just to me.My only other complaint is the price. Obviously with seven cats if I followed the dosing guidelines I would run out very quickly and the cost would be too much to maintain. However, I think adding a tablet to their wet food 2-3 times a day is better than nothing. I add a variety of other supplements and vitamins at each meal depending on what’s being fed, so having these in the cat pantry comes in handy and helps me feel like I’m doing my best to go above and beyond the traditional pet food diet for them. Particularly, with a brand I think can be trusted, made in the USA and verified, I think this product is a good value for money.
