Great with one feedback on design
These are amazing adjustable weights. They fit very well in my hands and have great grip.I use them during my 1-1 personal training and have one issue, they are screw adjustment. So it takes 30 secs minimum to adjust. This is my only issue with the item

Variable weights easy to change
I like the possibility to change the weight. The ends seem to loosen a bit but I just check them when I use them to be sure they are tight. Someone said they roll, and that’s a little bit of a draw back, but I just make sure that they are secure.

Great Starter Set
Our daughter has taken up weightlifting to keep her bones healthy. She requested a set of dumbbells to start her journey.I have used dumbbells at the local gym and am aware that 5 lb. weights are a great, all-round weight class for women. I’ve read that women have more natural weight lifting ability in their lower extremities; men in their upper extremities, thus, 5lb. is a good place for her to start.These dumbbells are surprisingly well made. They have an alloy steel handle with foam grips & alloy steel end plates that are adjustable to accommodate different weights. This “smallest” set comes with a total of 5 lb. on each end plate. You can adjust the weight up or down by unscrewing/rescrewing the 2 levels on each end to instead, have free weights that come to 3 lb. or 4 lb. (You can also purchase a medium and/or large set of weights in this collection that accommodate even larger amounts of weight, up to 15 lb.) The listing is confident that the end plates screw on tightly with “no chance of them coming loose.”I have used various dumbbells in my gym for years and can assure you, they don’t look anywhere as nice and classy as this set does. Our daughter has small hands like her Mom so sometimes grasping a larger dumbbell is more difficult and unsafe. All the way around, this is a great set, I’m pleased to have found it for her & I recommend it.
