It does the job good especially for the price. I just throw it in with his food and he doesn’t even notice, no hassle when administering. He seems more fluid and less slow in his movements.

Important for senior dogs
Terrapaws is an interesting company. It’s relatively new and is founded on the concept of using vet endorsed “plant-based food and upcycled ingredients” to promote pet health and reduce food waste. As soon as my dogs turned 10, their vet recommended some sort of joint supplement. The recommended dose of Glucosamine is 20 mg. per pound for 4 to 6 weeks and then lowering to a maintenance dose. My dog is roughly 8 lbs., so she should get 160 mg. a day. This product is calling for her to get 1 chew per day which is 250 mg. based on the product label. I plan on giving her a whole chew for 4 to 6 weeks, and then I will lower it to 3/4 tablet. Hope that helps.

Good quality, tasty for pups
My senior dog absolutely loved these chews, and he’s a picky eater! He’s 6 lb so he can only have one given the product specifications but he always wants more lol. The chews are very soft, easy to take apart and easier for my pup to chew comfortably with the few and little teeth he has.The ingredients listed on the label are good quality and no bad fillers, and the product is made in the US. They do smell beefy, but nothing overpowering that would bother us humans. But my pup? He loved the beef flavor.Though I can’t give many that often since my dog has a sensitive stomach, I’m sure any amount of supplement for his joints will only be a plus. I’m not sure how long it would take for improvements to be noticeable but I will update the review whenif I see any.I think so far, the chews are decent quality. I am pleasantly surprised with this product, and will definitely purchase some for my dog when he finishes this batch. Given that there’s 120 chews, they are good quality, my dog loved them, and the listed price is under $20, this product is definitely worth the price.

The Terrapaws Hip & Joint Supplement for Dogs in the beef flavor are an excellent all-round vitamin supplement for your dog. I make my dog’s food and give her supplements to be sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs to be healthy and strong. I like that the Terrapaws Hip & Joint Supplement is made in the U.S. I also like that these chews contain basic ingredients like glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, turmeric, green lipped mussel, boswellia, and vitamin C. So this supplement cover the most important aspects of my dog’s diet that will help her with mobility now and in the future. Due to her weight, 50 lbs., my golden retriever mix needs 3 chews/day. I give her two in the morning with breakfast and one in the evening with dinner. She loves them and needs no encouragement to eat these hip and joint chews. The Terrapaws Hip & Joint Supplement for Dogs also is an economical choice as one container lasts for 6 weeks and is the only supplement my dog needs to take for her hips and joints.

My dog loves these chews. It is hard to tell if they are helping her joints and mobility but I think they are a little at least. She is 14 so there is only so much that can be done at that age. Her coat is softer too.

Dog Will Not Eat This Homework
I’ve been having bad luck with dog treat supplements from here as of late. My dog, who generally will eat just about anything, won’t give these the time of day. She turns her nose up and protests. She will not eat them. The ingredients seem wholesome and that’s why I’ll give three stars, but I cannot speak to effectiveness, how it effects my dog’s mobility, energy level or general health, because I cannot get her to eat them. Even if I coat the treat in something she loves, she won’t do anything but eat around it. For that reason, I can’t agree that this is a good value product nor would I be ordering it again.
