Update: Rating changed from 2 to 4 stars.The supplier replaced the shoulder pads. The original shoulder pads were a bit flimsy – lacking proper padding. The replacement shoulder pads, of the same design, had more padding on them, especially at the top. Maybe there was a construction or quality issue with the original ones? A replacement bumper stop was also sent. After an initial delay in responding, the supplier responded quickly to remedy both issues and was easy to deal with.I’ve been using the unit daily for several weeks now and have found it to be better than expected. It is strong and sturdy enough that I have done standing leg exercises on it. Smooth and quiet movement. I do recommend it.Pros:Sturdy, heavier than expected (not a bad thing).Cons:Shoulder pads are a bit flimsy, not a high-quality high-density foam and not enough of it. There is an obvious lack of padding, especially at the top. If you have to do an exercise that requires you to hold onto the shoulder pads, you will be challenged with the lack of padding here. Being round shoulder pads, they do not spread out the weight onto your shoulders like square shoulder pads would. After awhile, that single point of impact on your shoulders starts to hurt.Foldable, but not easily foldable. You have to go under the unit and completely disassemble two bumper stops in order to fold/unfold the unit properly. Best to lay the unit on its side before trying to fold. Being heavy, these two issues make it tedious to want to put the unit away. Don’t know if this is the same for other foldable units.Received a damaged bumper that is needed to stand the unit up after folding. Requested a replacement, was notified it would be sent, but have yet to receive notice of it being shipped. Will update my feedback rating if it arrives.

Buyer beware
I thought this was a great product at first. I used it for a few weeks and was very happy. Then one day something was wrong, it stopped gliding smoothly like there was a lump the wheels were rolling over. I looked under the machine and saw one of the wheels was broken. The rubber had pulled off the wheel and was twisted. I contacted the seller and complained. After a lot of back and forth we agreed to them shipping replacement parts and seeing if that would fix the issue. It took almost three weeks to get the replacement wheels. When we got them we had to practically take the whole machine apart to get to the wheel to replace it. I tested the machine and it seemed fixed. A day later I used it and it was fine. Two days later I used it again and the new wheel broke AGAIN. This is not worth the trouble and hassle. I wish I had spent more money on a better machine versus trying to save a buck.

Great product for the price.
Overall this is a great reformer for the price. My husband and I use it almost everyday. Comfortable and easy to use. Set up was pretty much done, besides adding the coils and bands. Comments to company: Would love a link to some videos to use with it, but I am pretty well versed with pilates. So its not a game changer for me. Do you have a pilates community to share videos with newbies? It would be great if weight of band attachments were listed with a sticker near them, so you knew how much weight you were adding (with each band). Not all machines put this but when I have seen it, its a nice touch. Also, an add on cover would be epic as well to boost your sales and nice for the consumer, but its not a game changer for me.

For the price, worth it, for beginners
I’ll begin with the assemblement: putting the machine together wasn’t too hard. Except for step #19!!! I wish there was a how-to video because I STRUGGLED. But as a noob, I did well, and I finished assembling everything.Moving on to usage: as a beginner with low strength, it’s a good machine. However, once my strength reaches a certain point, I will need more weight resistance, and I can’t really add more weight resistance to this machine. Not to my knowledge, anyway.Positives: it was worth the purchase, I think.Drawbacks: my machine came with uneven pull straps, as shown in photos, so using this machine can be awkward at times, since they’re uneven. And there isn’t a way to adjust those lengths, not to my knowledge anyway.

Ideal reformer for at home!
Easy to store or put away, takes only 5mins to set up or store away. Installation was maybe 20-30mins and i did it by myself. Super easy process! However i do strength training so i was strong enough to lift it and get it set up. I recommend making it a 2 person job since it’s very heavy. I love the sturdiness and support of the foam for my back. My only wish is that it offered more weights/springs since i might be consider intermediate or advanced. Perfect for those just starting out and want to save from a membership. I love working out from home so I can set the mood however I please. Also provides me the freedom and flexibility to do it whenever as someone who works mostly remote. Remember there’s a height limit! If you’re 5’7 or taller I would suggest a different brand. This is meant for a more compact and travel friendly option. Which i love and suits me perfectly since I didn’t want something that was mega large or taking up too much space. If your 5’6 or shorter this is the one 🥰

This reformer is such good quality for the price! I have now recommended it to all my girlfriends with those expensive Pilates memberships!It’s foldable so it’s a great size for storage and still durable so it can be alittle bit heavy but not bad. It’s very easy to use aswell and easy to assemble
