Daily support
I’ve been using this liquid cortisol support supplement for awhile now. I like how it helps me feel calmer and more balanced. The blend of magnesium glycinate, ashwagandha, L-theanine, and chamomile works great for relaxation and better sleep, while vitamin D3 helps with energy and immune support. I love that it’s a liquid—it absorbs fast and is easy to take with a pleasant flavor. After a few days, I noticed less stress and more steady energy. Cortisol support
I was really hoping that I was going to like this better. Seeing the blueberry on the bottle, I thought that would be the flavor profile. The flavor is odd. It’s also a bit spicy from the black pepper, so I’m not a huge fan of that, either. It’s not super easy to get the full dose as you have to suck up some, then flip it upside down and depress it again and then suck up more. The markings are nice for dosage though.

After I received this supplement and read the label, I’ll be honest, I had some initial misgivings. The initial page that shared the ingredients doesn’t mention the inclusion of St. John’s Wort. St. John’s Wort is prescribed in other countries for depression, but in the USA, it is considered a supplement, so it goes fairly unregulated. Some people have used it for depression without the oversight of a doctor and have had side effects, so I am really cautious about it. That being said, a serving only contains 20 mg, which is a pretty negligible amount, and since I will use this supplement on an occasional basis, I have given it a try.I place a dropper’s worth under my tongue and it has a slightly sweet, non-descript flavor, so it is easy to take straight. After an hour or so, I feel slightly more calm—I would describe it as “chill”. I don’t feel tired, but I feel a little more relaxed; this doesn’t affect my day-to day-functioning negatively. It takes a smidge of the edge off, which is really nice.I have had good experience using kava for anxiety, and in this low dose, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the magic in this supplement.The listed price is fair for this supplement, and I recommend it for use on an occasional basis.

Not a fan of the flavor. Kava Kava & St John’s Wort – be aware
A couple caveats on this one: It contains kava kava, so if you have liver or kidney issues, best to check with a physician before starting this supplement. It is a low amount, but still priced with caution.
