Great coat but arm length is for taller women.
Love the coat. This coat is true to size.I am 5’4″ around 200 lbs. I bought a 2X. The coat is cozy and love that it zips up. I think I could possibly have gotten a XL but thinking that I may wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath it gives me the extra room. It fits well and does not make me look too boxy like some coats. I feel it is made to be loose and comfortable but also to show our curves and waistline. The only con is that the sleeves are too long for me. This is always an issue for me so I always just roll up the sleeves because I am just 5’4″ and kind of chunky so my arms are shorter. I think somebody with longer arms that are probably 5’6″ or taller the arms would work great. So give it try.

The length on this is great and will definitely keep you warm.
I love the length of this jacket. The fit is a little slimmer than other brands, but it fits great. The color is slightly off from how dark it is in the listings photos but I still love the color. The fleece is very thick and will keep me nice and warm.

Love this jacket and was able to buy it cheaper than other stores. The color is gorgeous and it’s so soft and warm. If you’re between sizes or sizes or want to wear a sweater underneath, I’d recommend sizing up. It’s a little fitted.

Very nice quality coat, so incredibly warm I roasted in it just trying it on in house, should work wonders to keep colds bite off playing in the snow! HOWEVER, it is true to size and a form fitting style so it is snug fit as suggested in reviews. I am a size 1x and there’s room in the arms for a thin to medium thickness sweater. Size up is recommended for a tad looser fit. The hood sits high up on shoulders but will be cozier in chilly windy weather, but I wished it was detachable. My arms are just over average length and it fit fine so if you are taller with long arms you should be fine; shorter arms prepare to hem, roll, or push up sleeves. ONE LAST THING, the color Black looks more like a dark charcoal, on the upside of that, it makes the fleece look like velveteen from 5 ft away. Why i deducted 1 star from a 5-star coat, the Black needs to be Black! No real complaints and happy with purchase! Would buy again in other color and do recommend buying it.

Runs small and very fitted
This item runs small and very fitted. Great price, but had to reorder a size up from my normal Columbia size. I have purchased a minimum of five jackets, pullovers, this fall and winter for myself in large and X-Large with good fits. Had to reorder this jacket from an XL and go up to a 1X and am keeping but it is a little more snug than I really like. Other than that, it is cute, love the length and the hood is a nice addition.

Warm, comfortable, and stylish!
I am 5’8″ and 164lbs, and the large fits me nicely! This is my second purchase of this exact sweater/coat. I purchased one years ago at a local retailer that I wore almost daily in the fall, winter, and spring here in the PNW. The zipper eventually gave out and the material looked pretty worn. It lasted over 5 years of frequent use, so I was satisfied. I loved it so much, I went on the hunt to find a new one. I was shocked to find that Columbia still makes it, and Amazon sells it! I waited for it to go on sale before purchasing, but honestly the regular price is far below what I paid for my first one years ago. The length and overall fit is just right. It is very warm and the material is soft. I personally like the oversized hood on this sweater, too. It helps keep my face dry when it sprinkles, which is often in the PNW. It doesn’t take long to dry out from the light rain. The fit is very stylish, as it snugs up closer to the waist but tapers out around the hips and covers my bottom. The gray color contrasts well to black leggings. This is my go-to sweater for mild weather!
