Joint support for all sizes
My little buddies aren’t getting any younger so trying to preserve their joints with some glucosamine. This is a daily supplement with 600mg Glucosamine from shellfish, 300mg Chondroitin Sulfate from chicken, 250mg of Methylsulfonymethane, and 3mg of Manganese. And I like that they break down the daily amount by weight since one are different sizes. Give1/2 tablet for 1-15 Ibs, I tablet for 16-30 Ibs, 2 tablets for 31-60 Ibs, and 3 tablets for over 60 Ibs. So no worries about buying different supplements for different sizes, this is an all in one bottle. Just keep in mind, it’s a 60 pill supply so small dogs can last for 4 months while large dogs only last for 1 month. From food to meds, Those large guys always cost more unfortunately. Please note: My review is part of Amazon’s Vine Program which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for honest, accurate reviews. joint tablet’s verdict is still out…
The verdict is still out for these, my dog gets joint chews to prevent future issues, so it’s impossible to know what works and doesn’t at this point in her life. She’s a long and tall girl, so joint issues are important to prevent!*My dog likes them, she gets heartworm in a tablet so had no issues with these. Why would you purchase tablets if your dog can’t chew them? They’re more affordable for a reason- less fillers to create that soft pill.*Trusted company, I’ve seen them around for quite a while and stores other than here.*Affordability, even compared to similar tablets. I’ve also seen these in larger bottles in a warehouse store.*Compared to our normal joint supplement that is recommended by her vet, these are dosed very high. 3 tablets would give her:*2x glucosamine- repairs damaged cartilage, reduces inflammation, and supports the structural integrity of joints*over 2.5x chondroitin- helps maintain & repair joint cartilage and reduces stiffness*BUT… 50mg less MSM- reduces inflammation, blocks pain signals, and strengthens connective tissues… so 2 tablets would be closer with less MSM and then different remaining ingredients.I’m planning to start a rotation of joint supplements with these (dosed at 1.5 using an XL cutter) and her others, as each seem to have some benefits.Review for VetIQ Hip & Joint Health Supplement for Dogs, with Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSM, Chewable Tablets for Dogs, Chicken Flavor, 60 Count $14.99

Dog liked it right away, harder to Split
Looks and smells a lot like the name-brand glucosamine, though this one has a slightly stronger chicken scent – my dog was curious about it right away. My 11 year old german shepherd mix eats it solo just fine. Unlike name brands though, the tablets are on the chunky side and a bit tough to split, so an extra score line would definitely help since they don’t fit well in a standard pill cutter. I usually drop one into my dog’s kibble and add a splash of broth or water to soften it up, it works perfectly that way.

Old dog can’t chew it
I’d really like to know how my old dog is supposed to eat a big hard tablet. I do not recommend

Seems ok but will have to see how they really help with joint pain
Not sure what the long lasting result of this for health are yet, but I’ll give you the information I currently can to help you with your purchase decision. Photo enclosed, showing the size of the pills (with a normal spoon for scale). The pills are not crazy big but they are on the bigger size. The pills do have an indent which will make it easier to cut them. Since the pills are large, they are easy to cut with a pill cutter, and cutting with a knife can work too. The pills don’t smell great, which for dog purposes is a good thing because they like to eat smelly things so they probably taste good to them. They are somewhat chewable, but not super easy to chew so they might be more difficult for older dogs to eat. Value seems ok, but again not sure if this will really resolve joint issues.

Picky dog is happy to eat it
This is a good quality supplement that taste good for my little terrier that is older aged. It doesn’t smell bad and is very easy to chew for him even though his teeth aren’t the greatest. I feel like it’s very effective and helping him with his joint health and being more energetic.

Good.
VetIQ Hip & Joint Health Supplement for Dogs, with Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSM, Chewable Tablets for Dogs, Chicken Flavor, 60 CountI got this for my dog to help keep him with lessened pain when he’s moving around. Pretty good quality and value with there being 60 of them they will last him a while. He seems to like it and has no issues with taking it. I just put one in with his food in the mornings. It doesn’t upset his stomach. It seems to help him with pain. The dose varies with weight, and a full one is good for his size.

My Dog Actually Eats These (and They Seem to Work!)
I got these for my senior lab who’s been slowing down a bit, and she took to them right away—the chicken flavor must be legit because she thinks they’re treats. After a week or so, she’s moving around a little easier and getting up faster after naps. I’ve tried a few joint supplements before, but she usually refuses them, so this was a pleasant surprise. The tablets are a bit large for smaller dogs, but easy enough to break in half. Great choice for pet owners wanting something effective without a battle at pill time.
