Absolutely works to calm my Jack Russell
I have a Jack Russell. Enough said about why I’m here reviewing a calming supplement.This definitely works. I’ve been giving him the Pet RX NutriCalm in the morning and the Camomile at night (I administer it directly into his mouth; he does not mind the taste) and he is a noticeably calmer and happier pooch. He sleeps through the night rather than getting up and following me every time I get out of bed. This is a really good supplement.

Worked to calm our pup
Our pup seemed to like it. So much easier administering with the dropper in his mouth than trying to get him to take a pill. He seemed to like the taste too. We used it for fireworks time, which typically runs for at least a month around here, and instead of shaking, he was pretty calm. We definitely noticed that he was more relaxed. It didn’t take all of the fear away, but it certainly helped. Smells good too.

Seems to Be Helping
My dog gets a little anxious when he hears thunder and will often become restless and agitated at night when he’s fighting sleep. I recently started giving him Pet Well-Being Chamomile, and although he hasn’t been taking this supplement long, I am noticing that his fits don’t last as long, and he’s easier to comfort and calm down. I give him the recommended .50ml dosage for his 14 lb size, 2x day (as needed). I haven’t been able to get him to take it directly or without placing the drops around or close to his food. Fortunately, the drops can be given during or after meals.

Works well but expensive
I was looking for something organic and homeopathic to help my senior dog with discomfort she is dealing with from osteoporosis. She often gets restless at night and whimpers, needing to get up to move around, pant and pace. We suspect that it is anxiety, a side effect from the pain medicine that she is on and didn’t want to give her an additional pharmaceutical that would tax her liver and kidneys. It definitely has a calming effect that has begun to help her sleep more soundly through the night and seems to take the edge off of whatever is troubling her, giving her (and us) a better nights rest. I like that the chamomile used is organic but think that the natural bacon flavor stated likely has ingredients used that are not listed. They’re usually made from yeast, which can present problems for some dogs. A clarification of the bacon flavor is needed on the label.The taste must be palatable as we’ve had no issue in getting her to take it. We administer it directly into her food with no difficulty. The three stars reflects the bacon flavor and the high price tag. I received this through the Vine program in exchange for my honest review but wouldn’t purchase again at this price point. IMO this should be no more than $10. When I see high prices attached to pet products, especially those that contain inexpensive ingredients, I can’t help but feel gouged. This price point isn’t justifiable for what this is or sustainable for average pet parents, especially those of senior dogs that likely are spending more than they ever have to manage their pet’s health.

Great quality, calms my dogs during thunderstorms
My little dog is so scared of thunder, lightning, and loud noises. I have been using a ThunderVest on him, and it works pretty well. Now adding these chamomile drops to the mix is even better. I am a believer in holistic medicine, and these drops are of great quality, US-made. Chamomile is calming to the nerves and also to the digestive system. So far, it works well for the nerves and anxiety during the storms for my dog. He hasn’t had any upset stomach lately, so I am not able to comment on how well the chamomile works for that, but it’s a great help during the stormy summer in Florida.

Easy to Use and Encouraging So Far
Our dog struggles with separation anxiety, so we decided to try this product to see if it might help him stay more relaxed. It’s very easy to mix into his food, and he doesn’t seem to notice or mind it at all.My wife is a big fan of chamomile and felt it would be a natural, calming option for our dog-this product seemed like a good fit. While it’s not the cheapest option out there, the ingredients appear to be high quality, and we feel that justifies the cost.Too early to say definitively how well it works, but we’re encouraged so far and plan to keep using it.

I figure what works well for humans will also help our best friend. I’m always looking for natural forms of medicine and try to avoid pharmaceuticals. We have a rescue and she is still quite nervous. Easily rattled from any unexpected noise, and she occasionally vomits. Working with our vet but this chamomile seems to be helping both her anxiety and tummy upset. Hasn’t been vomiting and seems less restless. A great herbal remedy and I would recommend giving this product a try.

Our vet recommended that we try a calm-down supplement to help with training and separation anxiety. Puppers also has a very sensitive GI tract, so the vet suggested finding something we can add to his regular food as it likely would be more gentle on his stomach.Chamomile is widely known to help ease agitation. We started Puppers on half a dose of this supplement for the first couple of days (3/4 of the included syringe), and then upped his dose to the full suggested amount (1.5 syringes). The supplement was added to his food about 1.5 to 2 hours before we needed to go out and drop him off at his usual dog-sitter, my Mother-in-law’s place.When we picked him up about four hours later, my MIL remarked at how calm he had been. After his usual full inspection of the house, he settled down beside her on the chesterfield and watched television the whole time.Final Thoughts: With this supplement in his diet, our dog appeared to be calmer and more settled than without. Unfortunately, given the dosage amount he requires to achieve this, 59mls (2 ounces) disappears very quickly. Listed at $51.97 at the time of ordering, combined with the frequency with which we would need to replenish, the price is too expensive to be of great value.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
