Classic, Comfortable, and Timeless
These Levi’s 501 shorts are exactly what I was hoping for—classic, well-made, and flattering. The denim feels sturdy but still has a comfortable fit that gets better with wear. Super flattering and this is my second time purchasing.
These shorts fit perfectly! The high waist gives a really flattering shape, and the denim has just the right amount of stretch — snug but still super comfortable. They’re cute with anything, from a tank top to a hoodie, and the distressed look makes them stylish without being over the top. I love that they’re long enough to feel comfortable but still have that trendy cut. Definitely one of my favorite pairs of shorts — perfect for summer!

Such a cute summer short
Ok, first of all these are such cute shorts and perfect for the summer. They are such good quality and make any outfit cute. I will say my only complaint would be that they run pretty small. I am 5’9 and 160 Ish pounds with some thicker thighs and usually wear a 28 I ended up getting a size 30 and they fit just right. I am probably going to wash them, and air dry them because I am not sure if they will shrink or not. I feel like they have a tiny bit of stretch in them but I wouldn’t bank on them stretching a whole bunch more just because of the material. They are a good length I am used to a little longer and they did ride up a tad but nothing too bad.

Runs small & too short but flattering
Okay so first of all, loved these shorts. After reading reviews, I decided to get two sizes larger than what I am. I’m usually a 30 or a size 10 in jeans & I decided on buying the 32. They fit perfectly! I did end up returning because they were too short for my liking. I knew I was gonna keep them in my closet if I kept them (& they deserve better). They are comfy & do not offer much stretch. The quality was amazing & the material was thick. They are very flattering & wish I did not have to return.

Not the best for curvier shapes
They’re cute but I have a couple of issues with these shorts. First, the button closure is a real pain. Maybe they’ll get better with more wear, but the buttons are really hard to get closed. I’d prefer a zip way more. Second, they’re not the best fit for ladies with thicker thighs and booty but smaller waist. The shorts fit well in my thighs and booty but the waist is a bit loose as you can see in the side profile. They do okay with a belt but I wish they fit better in the waist.

So I have been searching for a pair of shorts for the longest time that don’t absolutely destroy my confidence. I bought the Levi’s Women’s 501 Original Shorts in New (blow big horns) and all I can say is JUST GET THEM!!! This is the first review that I have ever left, and I cannot believe how perfect these fit. They are soft, stretchy, when I sit down my thighs aren’t uncomfortable. The shorts are flexible, flattering from all angles.For sizing reference, I am 5’8, 150lbs and my waist is 29. I ordered size 30 for these shorts. I could have even sized down, but they are a comfortable fit. There definitely is a little bit of extra space in the back, my build is a smaller waist, but i carry majority of my weight in my thighs and hips. As someone who is 5’8 with semi athletic/ semi curvy build, my butt is not sticking out, my thighs have room to breathe, they are the perfect length. It’s cute and tall approved.

Never have I ever found a bottom that fit me so well. I must admit I for the first time in 20 year, and mother of 3 could not stop staring at my own a**. The short are quality. They hug all your curves in the right way. I was blown away. Highly recommend.

True to size 27 same as all of my levis, no-stretch denim with the button fly. These are excellent quality, especially for the prime day price. There is an almost invisible line of stitching around the frayed ends so they dont run. Very flattering.
