Happy Mama, Happy Babies Recommend Vitamin Code Prenatal Vitamins
I came here to check one of the ingredients on this prenatal vitamin, which I have used for both of my pregnancies, and I noticed a small string of negative reviews. So, I wanted to add my two cents, even though I usually tend to shy away from reviews. So far as I can tell, these prenatal vitamins have worked really well for both of my pregnancies. Our son is happy, healthy, and bright, and we had an uneventful pregnancy and labor and delivery. Our baby-on-the-way is developing well and is active in the womb.I also want to note that with my first pregnancy, sometime in my first trimester, I ran out of these vitamins and switched to Garden of Life for about a week or so. During that week, I started having painful cramps that were like nothing I have experienced before in my life, and I was genuinely terrified that I might be miscarrying. I told my husband about my symptoms, and he asked if I had changed anything in my routine. I said no at first, but then I remembered the prenatal vitamins. I switched back to Vitamin Code immediately, and within a day I was back to my happy, cramp-free self; from there, I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. So, just a word of caution that it really can make a difference which prenatal vitamins you choose.A few other thoughts: I think the taste of these vitamins are mild, and they’re not too difficult to swallow. They do tend to float a little in the water when I take them, so I just take my time and try to relax. For those who are worried about Nestle owning the company now (I haven’t verified this, but I will take others’ claims at face value), I can say that I notice no difference between when I took these in 2015/2016 and now in 2021/2022. They seem just as high quality as they always were. The only other thing I’ll note is that it’s good to take an additional calcium supplement with these, especially if you avoid dairy.I hope this review helps and reassures anyone who might be on the fence. These are really excellent prenatal vitamins, tried and true for me, and I am glad to recommend them.

Great vitamins, not only for prenatal women
I am a 41 year old woman and I have been taking these vitamins for 8+ years. I started with these vitamins when I started to plan to get pregnant. I since had my two kids that are now (8 and 6 years old) and I keep taking them. I tried to take a break for a while and replaced some of the vitamins like vitamin D3, vitamin C, etc. After 6 months of the switch, I did some blood work at a lab and my markers were not as healthy as they used to be. I then switched back to these prenatal vitamins, even though I have absolutely no intention of getting pregnant. I also started getting those to my mom, who is 75 years old. She is very healthy, active, lives alone and independently, and she also likes to take these.

A pregnancy ESSENTIAL- Non-GMO & Gentle on the Stomach
I can’t sing enough praises for Garden of Life Prenatal Vitamins. These little gems have been my go-to companion throughout my pregnancy journey, and they’ve truly exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features of these vitamins is their gentleness on the stomach. Unlike some other prenatal vitamins I’ve tried, these never caused me any discomfort or stomach aches. It’s such a relief to have a product that supports my health and my baby’s development without causing any unnecessary discomfort. The comprehensive nutrient profile of these vitamins is another major win. Knowing that I’m providing my body with all the essential nutrients needed for a healthy pregnancy gives me peace of mind. From folate to iron and beyond, Garden of Life has covered all the bases to support both me and my growing baby.Perhaps the cherry on top is the fact that these prenatal vitamins are certified non-GMO. In a world where quality matters, it’s reassuring to know that I’m consuming a product that meets the highest standards of purity and sustainability. In conclusion, Garden of Life Prenatal Vitamins have been an integral part of my pregnancy wellness routine. They’re gentle on the stomach, packed with vital nutrients, and proudly certified non-GMO. I wholeheartedly recommend these vitamins to any expectant mothers looking for a reliable and holistic way to support their pregnancy journey.

    The best prenatal out there!
I have done SOOOO much research on prenatal vitamins, and this is the one I keep coming back to! It is perfect, the nutrients are bioavailable(readily absorbed by the body), it does not contain dangerous ingredients, and contains lots of healthy ORGANIC fruit and veggie juices, sprouted grains, etc.My midwife was thrilled to hear that I was taking these, and she highly recommends them after doing lots of research herself.I love that it contains probiotics which are so healthy for you and baby. 3 pills a day means that the nutrients are better absorbed because you are not taking them all at once(although if I forget to take them during the day I will take them all at night and have not had any probs, but I prefer spacing them out). And, these did not give me morning sickness(or worsen what I was already feeling) like other brands I have taken. These are a little low in calcium and magnesium which you can easily get from a healthy diet. This vitamin does not contain phosphorus which is also easy to get from a truely good diet. I recommend raw goats milk for the phosphorus and calcium(it does have a little magnesium too. It is higher in all of these things than raw cows milk. Pasturized milk contains no phosphorus and its other nutrients are depleted because of the heat. It also loses its beneficial enzymes), and raw sunflower seeds for calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. Both of these foods are also high in protein which is very important during pregnancy. You need A LOT of protein while pregnant!Pregnant women, I recommend the video The Business of Being Born on Youtube(free to watch. Or buy on Amazon)

I absolutely loved this prenatal vitamin. It was easy on the stomach and I loved mixing it into my green smoothie in the morning. As a breastfeeding mama I also used it during postpartum and it is helping keep up my energy!

I take the raw with the prenatal DHAThe raw do have a strong smell but I open the capsules and put them into my smoothie so I don’t taste them and I’m not taking the capsule part either!! I feel relatively good and other prenatal shave made me feel very nauseous and these don’t do that for me!I’m happy I purchased them

Have done a fair amount of research and this product consistently comes up as a recommended supplement for pregnant women. My wife has been taking this supplement throughout her entire pregnancy. The pills have been fairly easy to swallow and she hasn’t reported any problems ingesting it.
