Simple but effective
I know, I know… it’s just a piece of foam right? Well, it’s a durable piece of foam with the correct shape and density to aid you. I’ve primarily used it for back pain. My round-trip commute for work each day is three hours. I do drive a very comfortable luxury car but even it can’t negate the effects of just being seated for those long stretches. To add to my back woes, while at work I am either seated at a desk, a conference table or out climbing on equipment. None of these things by itself is a “back breaker” but in combination,they certainly aren’t conducive to back health. I have a high dollar massage chair at home and while I do like it, it takes up time to run through a routine and with that commute plus a twelve hour work day, time is not always something I have an abundance of. That’s where this foam roller really shines. I can spend a couple of minutes with it at night or in the morning to quickly target trouble spots. If used with regularity, you can diminish those pains significantly making you feel better throughout the day, sleep better at night and wake up more refreshed and energized.

Strong roll
The size and type of material makes this roll a strong one. By strong I mean that it keeps its form (shape) and doesn’t deform with use. The grooves are not too deep so it doesn’t accumulate dirt. These grooves and material also help with avoiding slips or the roll sliding away. The roll is strong enough to withstand a wide range of weights.

I really like the size of this foam roller – easy enough to pack up to bring to the gym, but big enough to be able to use (not one of the compact squishy ones). Had a medium firmness which is perfect in my opinion, and the ridges provide enough pressure but not too aggressive like other foam rollers. Will see how the durability is/how long it lasts, but so far I’m really happy with this purchase!
