Good weights
The weights seem to be good quality for the price, the coating has lasted and is easy to grip. I like the variety of weights for my purpose. The only slightly negative comment I have is on the holder. It’s nice to have one, but geez, this one is so thin when you screw it together it could blow over in a strong wind. It’s surdy enough to hold the weights, but it’s certainly not an outstanding piece of engineering. Just be sure to place it where it won’t do damage when it falls down. And take care when you remove and replace the weights on it!

Best dumbbells money can buy
Great dumbbells. I purchased these for home work out and recovering from a neck injury. My physical therapist said it will take a while, as suspected. And I’m so glad I found these. They have great quality. Easy to hold nice texture for gripping which is so important and easy to clean as well. Love the pack of three so I can build up to it in my own time. Love the storage capabilities. Stand is a Little cheap plastic holder. But the weights themselves are great. No cutting corners very good quality. I have had these for a year now. Use them 3x a week for multiple physical therapy needs. And I highly recommend and I have finally used all three instead of just the lightest of the two. The color has never faded. Colors are beautiful I might add. They even sit near my window so no sun faded damage either. Thats some quality right there. They have never stained from sweating. There have never been damage from anything I’ve done. Neoprene coating excellent quality. So happy and joyful that I made this buy. So just starting a healthy exercise journey or need recovery physical therapy needs. Highly recommend because eventually you’ll get stronger and now you will have a whole complete quality set that will last you for years. For a better bargain I might add. Instead of buying individual cheap dumbbells. Invest in these great dumbbells, you won’t regret it. I can’t say enough good things.

hand weights
Hand weighs are well made. The stand is easy to put together but is flimsy.

See best use cases below – not for long term or heavy use
This is a 4-star review, based on the price point, not a 4-star review on them in the context of all dumbbells everywhere. If that was the case, these would be a strong 1.5, not 4 stars. These are a perfectly acceptable basic set of dumbbells for people who aren’t and never will be serious about weight lifting or doing it long term. The ideal uses cases for these are:* Introductory – you want to try some very weight lifting exercises and need a basic set to get started and see how you like it. It’s not going to break your bank and if you decide against it, you’re not out much money and you can probably find someone else who needs it for one of these reasons.* Warmups – Even if you move on to something bigger, better, and more serious, you may still want to use these for basic warmups just to put a little weight on your movements. Short of dropping them on concrete or some other form of abuse, wear and tear on these is going to be very minimal. See recommendations below for more care tips.* Recovery and reconditioning – Lots of people need to start with basics on home exercises as a part of physical therapy. These are ideal for that after you get to the 3# level. See your PT therapist for a comprehensive plan, as they will be able to direct your program to avoid injury.Pros:1] Cheap, colorful, easy on the hands, well-balanced, hex shape [to stop them from rolling], acceptable stand considering the price point, coated to protect other surfaces from scratching.2] Otherwise, these will also stand nicely in the corner, minding their own business and be the source of many people doing an ooh and ahh, complementing you on the fact that are health-minded.3] Acceptable price point and decent value for the money, assuming you aren’t into long term investments or this is your only financial option. aka – better than nothing… and CHEAP!Cons:1] Not the most durable coating, but it is sufficient for uses as stated. It will likely get damaged if you drop them on anything other than carpet or have stuff that bangs into them2] Cheap stand that is easily tipped by toddlers or being bumped. Consider your environment. A toddler who likes the bright colors and thinks it’s a toy will not hurt the weights but may accidentally tip over the rack, and having a 3, 5, or 8 lb weight land on a foot will hurt.3] These plastic surfaces tend to discolor over time, yellowing quickly in probably 3-4 years. As such, they will look a little dingy and then start to feel sticky. This won’t affect the weight but it will likely affect how much you want to use them.4] Beyond the accident potential around infants and toddlers, consider if you have someone in your abode who might think that every bright color must be tasted. This is not food grade plastic and shouldn’t be licked or chewed on by a human of any size.Recommendations:1] Use these as introductory, short term, or limited use weights. Anything beyond this, consider investing in better quality, lifelong equipment. I’ve yet to see an iron dumbbell be destroyed or even get icky.2] Wipe them down after use. I’ve seen plastic surfaces like this which are subjected to skin oils, start to get sticky and leave gross questionable residue on the hands, because the oils break down the plastic. I have no way of predicting how long this will take, but give yourself a break and keep these clean. It’s best to avoid harsh cleaning chemicals so just regularly wipe them down after use. Every month or so, use a baby butt wipe to get environmental dust off them and they may last a little bit longer.3] If you think you might want to keep these around longer and don’t care what anyone thinks, put a dishtowel over them to keep them from attracting the grime.**For those looking for a controlled study analysis on this particular product, I’m gonna have to disappoint you. This is just a recommendation, not a peer-reviewed dissertation, even if it is as long as one.

They are weights
Weights. They weigh. Bought to be healthy. Still fat. Don’t use them. User error I think.
WCS –
Muy buen conjunto de pesas por el precio. El “stand” es de un plástico de pobre calidad, por lo que tengo cuidado cuando retiro y coloco de vuelta las pesas.
Nessie T –
Excellent, I love them. I now need the identical stand without the weights for the three sets of weights I already have (0.5, 1, 2kg)

Great for home workouts.

When our shipment arrived one of the weights was missing. We called and w/o any hassle they just sent us another whole set! The stand for the weights goes together quickly and is very sturdy. The weights have a good feel, very grippy.
