Material is good quality
these leggings are made of a good quality material. when you bend over there is no see through. its a bit snug because they are compression leggings.

Disappointed
Ok, I never leave reviews…like never but I felt the need to leave some thoughts on these thermal tights. First off I love and have worn CW-X for years as an avid runner. But for the love of god please stop shortening the waist in all your tights and shorts, some of us as we have aged have some curves now! Add a pocket, please add a small zip pocket to the waist or the side for at least a gel…come on design team everyone else is figuring this out!! Thermal is a big big stretch in the description, these are not for cold weather, they are good for about 40 degrees with no wind. Lastly there is no band of elastic on the bottom cuff of the tights, so they ride up a little and are loose around your ankles ….remember these are for cold weather…add some more material and elastic!!

OMG! These are so freaking SMALL!!!
I own CW-X Women’s Stabilyx Insulator Joint Support Compression Tight and CW-X Women’s Insulator Pro Tights. So, I figured these would fit about the same. I ordered a size up because I have gained a few pounds working from home. I was so excited because I loved my other CW-X insulator tights. I pulled these out of the bag to try them on and OMG! These are so freaking SMALL!!! I know these are compression tights and they are supposed to be tight but I could not even pull these up over my knees! The material wasn’t even insulated like my other ones. I’ve noticed that ALL the CW-X tights that I have tried lately are not even close to the quality they once had. I returned these 1) because they are way too small and 2) flimsy material. I guess I’m going to have to find a different brand.

Perfect legging for cross country ski
This is the second pair of insulated cw-x tight that I bought for cross country skate skiing. Both my husband and I have the similar item by cw-x from 2009. We have been very pleased with it. It provides great muscle support while keeping us warm doing our favorite winter sports. The first pair is still in great condition, but I decided it’s the time to get a new pair just in case. The new pair costs more now in 2022. It’s fabric does feel a bit thinner. I waited for a warmer day, 33℉ with 8 mph wind so it feels like 27℉, to try it. It provides great muscle support like the old one and my legs get warm after some skiing. I then tried it on a colder day, 12℉ with 6 mph wind so it feels like 3℉. The tight shields the wind like the old one and my legs stay relatively warm. Although the fabric feels thinner, the overall protection and support do function like the old one, if not better. Sizewise, it is slightly smaller. I ordered an M and it feels slightly tighter than the old one. Overall, I am still very happy with this cw-x insulated stability tight.

Helps support my body and makes me more confident in walking
They have helped me walk better because without them my knees want to buckle. They are a bit difficult to put on because I have had a couple strokes but I will keep trying. The material is a good quality and they feel good on.

Not impressed so far.
I bought these as a precautionary backup. I tweaked my knee last winter skiing and via physical therapy the knee has come around. I have to say that I can’t feel any difference with the knee whether or not I wear the tights. At this point I would probably not recommend them.

The only running tights I wear.
I have run in CW-X tights since I started running over 15+ years ago. I have all lengths of these tights, including the thermal lined for cold weather. These tights support my knees. Having had meniscus tear surgery, and my left knee being bone-on-bone, I am counting on these tights, with a sensible running plan, to protect my knee so that I do not have to have a knee replacement. I run approximately 12-14 miles a week. I also use the insulated thermal tights under my ski pants for skiing. They work well for insulation and again to protect my knees. I highly recommend these tights.

Runs small and are not warm
I have a pair of the normal, non-insulating endurance generator tights and a pair of the stabilix insulator tights, which have a light fleecey lining, are a bit thicker and warmer. I prefer a fit of the endurance so I bought these, supposedly insulator tights. They are pretty much the same thickness as my plain endurance ones, maybe a slight bit softer on the inside. But they are nowhere nearly as thick as my stabilix insulator tights. Completely not worth it if you are looking for warmth. You won’t find any here. Also, I wanted to try these on and they are too small. Same size as the other pairs of tights I have from this brand but they are a good inch narrower in the waist/hips.

I like everything about them

Good support for hips, knees & the parts in between. Worn for hip oa/FA and felt great. Pretty warm on Mt. Tremblant in Feb underneath warm snowpants- instead of my usual merino they worked ok but not as warm. There is no gusset so you may prefer to wear undies to avoid chafing. I was in between sizes so sized up & with the drawstring assist it fit perfect. You do need to put these on like nylons in a rolling fashion- adjust to fit your joints like you’d wear athletic tape. the waistband was the perfect width – & I hate waistbands-it was properly sewn into the garment too so no skin irritation. Not sheer so you could wear them solo, just be aware again there’s no liner for your bits, ladies! Pricing in Canada changes often- double check on their website directly ( 5; 3″, 125 lbs, ordered small)

Bought and returned 3 of them because they were all crooked and hurting my hamstring injury more. The fabric is bad quality and they are too short.
