Really comfortable
I tried my first pair of barefoot shoes about a month ago, and it did take some getting used to, because mentally I was expecting shoes to be very cushy. The footbeds provide just enough padding to absorb some shock. If I had to describe it, it’s like wearing very sturdy socks. When I go outside, I can feel the changes in the ground surface like rocks, tree roots, the variations in the yard, but the thin soles protect me from sharp edges. The shoes themselves feel like they are very well made. They’re very light and breathe really well, and the soles are quite grippy. The only times when I’ve felt like I didn’t have good traction was on a smooth concrete floor with the epoxy coating, and it was wet. I have always liked wide shoes with open toe boxes, so these really fit the bill. Sizing was spot on with what I expect. I typically wear a size 10, ordered a size 10, and they fit great. I ordered the gray with black soles, and they look just like in the picture. I previously purchased the white with gum soles, and they also were as advertised. The only things I would mention are the shape of the tongue at the top is a bit odd for me as it comes up farther on my ankle than most shoes. It was annoying at first, because it would make contact with my skin and make me think that something had gotten caught on my foot. The other thing is that the speed laces are typical inelastic laces. I will probably replace them with elastic laces. Maybe Whitin can make this change.Overall, I really like these shoes and have received compliments on them. They seem to be a very good value, and even moreso since I purchased them when they were discounted.

Worth every penny! I Love them
I wanted to actually wear these for a while to give an honest review. After 4+ months….These are amazing and SO comfortable. Having had numerous surgeries on my feet and L ankle I have to be careful which shoes I buy and wear. At 70 Yrs I know comfort. These are wonderful because it does feel like I’m barefooted but with the protection of coverage on my feet. I can run my errands without my feet hurting and they seem well made.

Sizing chart is wrong, so no wonder they’re a frequently returned item
They ARE comfy. However, the sizing chart is wrong. It says the size 9 shoe is 10 inches, which would normally be a size 9.5. BUT they clearly specify in the description, “Please refer to the size details page below or the size chart on the picture to choose the appropriate size.” So, I normally wear a 9.5 size, which is 10 inches. But THEIR chart says that the shoe measuring 10 inches is a size 9. WRONG! I measured my foot using the foot against the wall method and it was 10 inches, as always, so I ordered a size 9. Well, they’re too small, like a regular 9 which typically measures 9.75-9.85 inches long (and their chart lists that as a size 8). So the size 9 shoe seems to be true to size, but not the chart they insist you use. I measured the insoles and, indeed, they measure a little over 9.5 inches, but not 10 inches, no matter the angle you use to measure it. I think they might have wrongly measured the insoles flattening the curved part at the heel, which bends upwards and should not be part of the size measurement. You have to flatten that part for it to measure 10 inches, which makes no sense. The shoe is not going to stretch so that your foot flattens the curved heel part of the insole, which is not meant to be bent.A regular 9.5 size shoe would be around 10-10.2 inches, which is listed here as a size 10. And the size 10.5 is listed as 10.5 inches, which would actually be a size 11. But you can’t trust the chart. They appear to be good quality, are very comfortable, they’re easy to put on, and the soles seem to have a nice grip. So I guess the “Frequently returned item” notice under the description is due to the fact the sizing chart is wrong. I’m sending them back.

Very light weight
I have really tender feet and I can’t really find something that’s soft and comfortable, but these shoes are so cool. I put insoles in them also but they’re not bulky or anything I can wear them around the house. They’re actually really comfortable and casual.

Colors are good, fits my wide foot..still deciding.
I have worn this shoe a few times as I am trying to acclimate me feet. They are very comfortable and I must add – I have wide feet that splay out like duck feet due to bunions on both sides of my foot (a taylor bunion by my pinky and a larger bunion by my big toe; I bought a wide foot pair of hoka’s to give you an example of the space i need). The shoe is very comfy – be aware though, these are practically glorified water shoes. The drawstring on the shoe, instead of laces, is actually kind of ugly. However, I do understand why this was chose. The sole of the shoe seems like an afterthought as it comes out of the shoe each time you remove your foot and is a clashing yellow to the black/pink pair I purchased. I imagine they will hole a lot of odor.Going back to the way the shoe fits and feels etc, I will update once I have worn them more. I have given 3 stars based on the limited time I have worn them and a 5 star review isnt deserving yet.

Good Buy
Shoes feel very comfortable. Made of great durable material for gym and home use. Can be used for street wear. I would size up on fit shoe size. Ease to slip in and does not fall off during gym activities. Created a good base for leg exercises.

Great first impression!
Initial Reaction: Build quality seems excellent as does comfort level. Toe box is wide. I ordered a 12 an fit is good, I’m a 11 normally so glad I followed the recommendations to go up on size. I own a pair of Zero brand shoes (~ $100.00) and would rate these as better quality, time will tell 😉.

Very Comfortable!
Love these wide footed shoes… Once I found my correct size, they feel great on, and look nice on too. With it being a wider shoe, I was able to wear a smaller size. The price was wonderful too..

I was sceptical about barefoot shoes for a long time cause I am flat footer. I wore the best brands in the market but none gave me the comfort like the barefoot shoes I bought from Amazon. I bought and gave it a try. It changed my perception about barefoot shoes and gave me comfort and confidence to do my workout in the gym and on the treadmill. Overall, the barefoot shoes gave me complete movements with no pain or discomfort. The shoe size fitted well and I am happy that I made the transition.

My shoes arrived yesterday morning. They fit perfectly, are super comfortable. I’ve worn them for stair running, working out, elliptical, and going for a long walk. Also around the house the first day. They are light weight, appear to be well made.Note: a lot of people say these run small, so I initially ordered up. I’m normally a size 8 1/2, so I ordered 9. Huge. I then ordered 8. Perfect. Which is where the free-returns are a great feature – I wouldn’t order shoes without that.Additional note: I’ve had several people (strangers on the street) compliment me on my shoes since I got these. That has never happened before.

Ok not horrible at all, I got these for travel so I can go to the gym at the hotels and not have bulky runners taking up space for other necessary items. They got here quickly (nice), zero off-gassing also nice, wide toe box as described which again not horrible for me as i’ve got EEE feet but I still have some room inside the toebox. I wear bamboo socks so they are pretty thin. The pull tight elastic is a nice, easy fast on/off.The sole is thin as it’s described as well some folks like it some don’t, myself I don’t mind when I’m in the gym or out light walking, would not want to use these on any hikes. The build quality is good my only insight is the rubber used seems low quality, meaning it has a good flex but you can see the porosity of the rubber so I typically get about a year +2 months out of my walking shoes, I anticipate I’ll get that out of these as well with reduced usage.I also got these for when I go motorbike touring, at campsites or motels, etc. so again having limited room these roll up super small or pack flat. Just like I like them.
