Great, Adjustable Weight Vest
Well made, heavy weighted vest. As for sizing, I am a petite female and it is a bit long but it still works fine. So, the vest goes down to my iliac crests instead of the bottom of my rib cage like the picture suggests. I love how you can remove and add the weight based on what you need. If you want a weighted vest in this weight range, give this one a try!

size matters (not just weight)
The 9-16 pound vest was quite a bit smaller in size than the 17-24 pound. I purchased the lighter weight vest for my wife and the 17-24 for myself. The 17-24 fit me nicely with a medium framed 6’2″ body. The 9-16 pound vest was about half of the size of mine and looked like it would fit a kid and would not zip across my wife’s chest. I am giving the product 3 stars because I am satisfied with the 17-24 lb vest and am returning the smaller one to purchase another.

Functional and comfortable
I own the 17-24lb version of the vest. Overall, this is a comfortable vest that is perfectly functional for its intended use. The standout feature of the vest is the comfort, specifically with the shoulder straps. I have been rucking for about 18 months and use a Goruck Rucker 4.0 backpack. Even in the best of conditions, a rucking backpack can get uncomfortable, specifically on the shoulders. This weighted vest is perfectly comfortable across the shoulders and torso. You do not feel any specific pressure points anywhere when wearing the vest, the weight is very evenly distributed. When carrying weight, you want to be sure that the weight rides fairly high on your torso and specifically your back, if the weight hangs too low, it can cause some low back pain. I am 5’9″ and the weight distribution from the vest is perfect.The other very nice feature of this specific model is the removable/adjustable weights. There are two small sandbags in the front and three in the rear that can be removed. The only caution is that the bags are easier to remove than they are to put back in. They fit fine, it just takes a little adjusting to work the bag back into the compartmentAs others have noted, the fit may run a little small for some. I typically will wear a men’s large shirt, the weighted vest fits me fine across the torso, however, if I were any larger, the fit would be getting tight. I would caution anyone who is an XL or larger that the fit may not work for you.The only slightly odd component for me is the front zipper. The zipper works fine and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, however, if there was a plastic clip with adjustable strap, as there is on the top, the vest would be more flexible in fitting a larger person.

I like the zipper front
This is my 2nd weighted vest I’ve purchased. I like this one a lot more so to the zipper up the front vs having to slip it over my head. Right now I’m only wearing the vest and will add weights in increments.
